1st Day - Depart U.S.A. for Riga, Latvia.

2nd Day - RIGA. Arrive in Riga, Rent a car at the airport and settle-in at your hotel (13 mi). Riga, the capital of Latvia, is situated on the Baltic Sea coast on the river Daugava and is the largest city in the Baltic states. The Historic Center of Riga has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the city is particularly notable for its Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) architecture, which UNESCO considers to be unparalleled anywhere in the world. Overnight in Riga.

3rd Day - RIGA/TALLINN (187 mi, 4.5 hrs). Depart for Tallinn via Parnu. Pärnu County is one of 15 counties of Estonia where 6.6% of the total population of Estonia live. Pärnu County is the largest county of Estonia and is famous as a spa resort. Overnight in Tallinn

3rd Day - TALLINN.. Full day stay in Tallinn, capital and largest city in Estonia. It lies on the northern coast of Estonia on the Gulf of Finland. The city is an important industrial, political and cultural center and a seaport. It is fabulous medieval old town with many medieval style restaurants. Overnight in Tallinn.

4th Day - TALLINN/SIGULDA (218 mi, 5.5hrs). Drive to Sigulda via Tartu. Tartu is the second largest city of Estonia. In contrast to Estonia's political and financial capital Tallinn. It is often considered the intellectual and cultural center, especially since it is home to Estonia's oldest and most renowned university, situated 186 km southeast of Tallinn. Sigulda is a town in the Vidzeme Region of Latvia, 53 km from the capital city Riga. Sigulda is situated on a picturesque stretch of the primeval Gauja river valley. Because of the reddish Devonian sandstone which forms steep rocks and caves on both banks of the river, Sigulda has been called the "Switzerland of Vidzeme". Each summer a traditional Opera Festival takes place in an open-air music in the castle ruins. Overnight in Sigulda. 

5th Day - SIGULDA/VILNIUS (187 mi, 4.5 hrs). Depart for Vilnius, via Rundale Palace. Rundāle Palace is the most important baroque palace in Latvia, situated at Pilsrundāle, 12 km ( 7 miles ) west of Bauska. It was constructed in the 1730 and designed by Bartolomeo Rastrelli as a summer residence of Ernst Johann von Biron, the duke of Courland. Following Biron's fall from grace, the palace stood empty until the 1760s, when Rastrelli returned to complete its interior decoration. The palace is one of the major tourist destinations in Latvia. It is also used for the accommodation of notable guests, such as the leaders of foreign nations. The palace and the surrounding gardens are now a museum. After arrival in Vilnius settle-in at your hotel. Vilnius is the largest city and the capital of Lithuania. In 2009 Vilnius is  the capital of European Culture. Among the initiatives promoted by Lithuania for this event, the historical center of the city has been restored and its main monuments have been renovated. Vilnius is popular for its baroque style architecture and fabulous old town. Overnight in Vilnius.

6th Day -
VILNIUS. Full day stay in Vilnius. Suggested tour to Trakai, a historic city and lake resort in Lithuania. It lies 38 miles west of Vilnius. Because of its proximity to Vilnius, Trakai is a popular tourist destination mainly because of the castle on  the shores of Lake Galvė. The castle is sometimes referred to as "Little Marienburg". The construction of the stone castle was begun in the 14th century by Kęstutis, and around 1409 major works were completed by his son Vytautas the Great, who died in this castle in 1430. Trakai was one of the main centers of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania when castle had great strategic importance. Overnight in Vilnius.

7th Day- VILNIUS/Kaunas/RIGA (187 mi, 4.5 hrs). Drive to Riga via Kaunas, second largest city in Lithuania, and a former temporary capital. Kaunas is located on the two largest Lithuanian rivers, the Nemunas and the Neris. In the center of Kaunas you will find two pedestrian streets: the 2-km-long Laisvės alėja (Liberty Avenue), a central street of the city, lined by linden trees, and its continuation, Vilnius Street, leading to the oldest part of Kaunas. Some of the most important landmarks include - the Kaunas Castle, a 14th century fortification; the Vytautas' Church, one of the oldest churches in Lithuania, the Kaunas Cathedral, the largest Gothic building in Lithuania, with a late Baroque interior. Continue to Riga for overnight. 

8th Day - RIGA (13 mi) Drive to the airport and return the car.
