WEEKEND IN VILNIUS - 2008

Starts in Vilnius on Friday of your choice.

1st Day/Friday - VILNIUS. Arrive in Vilnius transfer to the hotel in city center.  Free time to catch a first glimpse of Lithuanian capital. (B)

2nd Day/Saturday - VILNIUS/Trakai. The city tour of Vilnius on foot and by car. Included are the Cathedral, the Presidential Palace, the University of Vilnius, the Gate of Dawn with the miraculous Icon, St. Peter’s and St. Paul’s Church, St. Anne’s Church, the Castles of Vilnius. The Old town of Vilnius is a UNESCO site. In the afternoon depart for Trakai (27 km away from Vilnius), the ancient capital of Lithuania with the medieval Castle situated on the Lake Galve. Returning to Vilnius. Time at Your leisure. Dinner. An overnight stay in Vilnius. (B)

3rd Day/Sunday - VILNIUS.  Whole day at leisure for family visits and exploring Vilnius on your own. Shop for souvenirs, such as reasonably priced high quality amber jewelry, linens, handicrafts will remain as pleasant mementoes of your  visit. You may take an optional excursions to Rumsiskes, an open-air Ethnographic Museum. We may also suggest an interesting KBG museum or Europa Park. (B)

4th Day/Monday - VILNIUS.  After breakfast, termination of services. Optional transfer to airport is available. (B)
