Time to rest and catch a first glimpse of the Polish capital. In
the evening, welcome dinner. (D)
3rd Day/Mon -
WARSAW. Enjoy
buffet breakfast in your hotel. Half day tour of Warsaw, including the Royal Route with all
its famous statues, buildings and churches, the Royal Lazienki Park with Palace
on the Water, F. Chopin’s monument and the Old Town area with the Royal Castle
Square, St John’s Cathedral, the Old Town Market Square. Stop for coffee and
Polish doughnut "paczki" at the famous "U Bliklego Cafe". Balance of day at leisure.
(B, L) 4th Day/Tue - WARAW/Kazimierz/Kozlowka/LUBLIN. After breakfast your motor coach journeys East through a picturesque route along the Vistula River. Stop for lunch in charming town of Kazimierz dating back to the 16th century. The Renaissance houses in the Market Square bear witness to the towns prosperity when it grew rich from the grain trade on the Vistula River. Today it is a favorite weekend get-away of the Varsovians and young artists who offer their works for sale. Continue to the magnificent Kozlowka Palace and tour the former Baroque residence of the noble Zamoyski family with original furnishings and artifacts of the family collection. Overnight in Lublin. - LUBLIN/Zamosc/RZESZOW. This morning a sightseeing tour of Lublin will introduce you to this historic city dating back to the 13th century. Twice the capital of Poland, it was a center of many cultures best known for the Lublin Union of 1569 (Polish-Lithuania Union). Walk through the 14th century Krakow Gate through the old town to the Castle Hill housing the fascinating Trinity Chapel containing the original frescoes commissioned by King Jagiello after the battle of
Grunwald. In the afternoon depart for the Galicia region and town of Rzeszow. En route make a brief stop
in Zamosc, jewel of Renaissance architecture, built in the 16th century by Italian architects. Overnight in Rzeszow in the charming hotel on the market square. (B, L) 6th Day/Thu - RZESZOW-Lezajsk-Lancut. Today you will discover the tourist attractions of the area. First to Lezajsk's 17th century Bernardine Basilica with miraculous icon of Our Lady. Here you will listen to a short concert on a unique organ. Then on to the Baroque Palace of Lancut, one of the most magnificent aristocratic residences of Lubomirski and Potocki families with extensive collection of works of art. Your tour ends in one-of-a-kind Distillery Museum with a vodka tasting. Balance of day at leisure. (B, D) 7th Day/Fri
- RZESZOW/ZAKOPANE. This
morning your coach departs for the Tatra Mountains through picturesque Beskidy
region. Stop for lunch in Niedzica Castle overlooking the Dunajec River. Spend an evening with the
"Gorale" band in one of the typical mountaineers
cottages.
Overnight in Zakopane.

- ZAKOPANE/KRAKOW. Today you will enjoy the unique atmosphere of this popular
vacation resort. Take a funicular to the Gubalowka Mountain and browse
through the bazaar with local arts and crafts of the mountaineers. Late
afternoon depart for Krakow for overnight. Your hotel is situated close to the
Market Square. (B, L) 9th
Day/Sun - KRAKOW. Today
you will spend discovering medieval treasures of Krakow including the St. Mary's
Church with the biggest Gothic altar and the Wawel Hill with the Coronation Cathedral where Polish
kings ruled for four centuries. Afternoon is free for optional excursion or just
relaxing. Farewell dinner in local restaurant. (B, D) 10th
