- WARSAW. Arrive in Warsaw.
Time to rest and catch a first glimpse of the Polish capital. In
the evening, welcome dinner. (D) 3rd
Day/Sun - WARSAW/GDANSK. Enjoy
buffet breakfast in your hotel. Half day tour of Warsaw,
including the Royal Route with all
its famous statues, buildings and churches, the Royal Lazienki Park
with Palace
on the Water, F. Chopin’s monument and the Old Town area with the Royal
Castle
Square, St John’s Cathedral, the Old Town Market Square. In the
afternoon
depart for the Baltic coast to the Tricity area (Gdansk, Sopot,
Gdynia). Evening
free to walk around the old town. (B, D) 4th Day/Mon - GDANSK. This morning tour the beautiful city of Gdansk, its Dluga Street promenade, Neptun's Fountain, the Gothic St. Mary's Church. Continue to the Oliwa Cathedral where you will hear an organ concert played on the magnificent Rococo organ with moving angels. In Sopot you will walk on the longest Pier on the Baltic. Return to Gdansk via Lenin's Shipyard, the birthplace of Solidarity. (B, D) 5th

/Tue
- GDANSK/Malbork/Torun/POZNAN. After
breakfast, depart for Poznan, cradle of the Polish nation. En route stop in Malbork
to visit the fortified Castle of the
Teutonic Knights in the 15th century. Continue to the medieval city of
Torun
best known as birthplace of the greatest Polish astronomer, N.
Copernicus. You
will see the gothic monuments and taste the traditional gingerbread.
Arrive
Poznan for overnight. (B, D) 6th Day/Wed - POZNAN/WROCLAW. Start the day with a tour of Poznan's Market Square and its most beautiful Renaissance Town Hall. In the Poznan Cathedral you will see the the burial chapel of the first Polish kings of Piast Dynasty. Continue South to Wroclaw. On arrival you will get acquainted with Wroclaw, called "Venice of the North". It is beautifully located on the Odra River and connected by 123 bridges. In the evening you might like to take a boat ride and see Wroclaw by night. (B, D) 7th
Day/Thu
- WROCLAW/Czestochowa/Auschwitz/KRAKOW.
This
morning you will journey to Czestochowa,
pilgrimage center of Poland with Jasna Gora
Monastery where a miraculous icon of the Black Madonna is venerated. After
lunch, continue to Auschwitz to
visit in former Nazi concentration camp now a martyrdom museum.
Arrive
late in Krakow and check-in at your hotel. (B, D) 8th
Day/Fri
- KRAKOW- Wieliczka. Today
you will spend discovering medieval treasures of Krakow including the
St. Mary's
Church with the biggest Gothic altar and the Wawel Hill with the
Coronation Cathedral from where Polish
kings ruled for four centuries. In the afternoon you will drive
to
Wieliczka Salt Mine, a unique world class attraction,
a UNESCO site. Here on a 1.3 mile tourist route you will
explore
fascinating underworld with chapels, grottoes, lakes and even a
sanatorium for
asthma patients. Return to Krakow for overnight. (B, D) 9th
Day/Sat - KRAKOW. After
breakfast, termination of tour services. (B) Transfer
