On Friday, depart U.S.A. for Warsaw.

2nd Day/Sat - WARSAW. Meet the rest of the group at 6:00 pm in the hotel lobby for a welcome dinner at the hotel. (D)
If airline tickets are purchased through PAT TOURS, transfer to the hotel on arrival is included in the tour cost.

3rd Day/Sun - WARSAW. Highlights of the half-day tour include Old Town, rebuilt with great reverence after WWII with its colorful Market Square and St. John's Cathedral, Warsaw's oldest church. Continue to Jewish Ghetto Memorial. Then, drive along the Royal Route to the 18th century Lazienki Park. Afternoon at leisure. In the evening enjoy dinner with a folklore performance. (B,D)

4th Day/Mon -WARSAW/Czestochowa/ZAKOPANE This morning depart for Czestochowa, pilgrimage center of Poland. Tour the Jasna Gora Monastery, the Treasurey and the shrine of the Black Madonna. After lunch, continue to the mountain resort of Zakopane hidden in the majestic Tatra Mountains. (B,L)

5th Day/Tue - ZAKOPANE. After breakfast sightseeing tour of Zakopane. Admire the breathtaking views of the Tatras from the top of Gubalowka Mountain. In the afternoon enjoy some free time to shop for local arts and crafts of the local mountaineers. Tonight's dinner if at the typical cottage where you'll taste some specialties and be entertained by the highlanders' ensemble. (B,D)

6th Day/Wed - ZAKOPANE/KRAKOW. Spend a relaxing day and take a fun ride on rafts down the Dunajec River at the Pieniny National Park. After lunch depart for  the medieval city of Krakow. (B,L)

7th Day/Thu - KRAKOW/Wieliczka. Morning sightseeing tour of Krakow includes: the Wawel Coronation Cathedral, Old Market Square, Cloth Hall and St. Mary's Church with famous Gothic altar by Wit Stwosz. After lunch on your own, excursion to Wieliczka Salt Mine, existing more than 700 years. On a 1.3 mile tourist route discover the fascinating underground wonders. Balance of day at leisure. Dinner at the local restaurant.  (B,D)

8th Day/Fri - KRAKOW/Auschwitz/Wadowice. After breakfast depart for Oswiecim, site of the Auschwitz Nazi concentration camp, now a martyrdom museum. Return to Krakow via Wadowice, birthplace of Pope John Paul II. (B, D) 

9th Day/Sat - KRAKOW/WARSAW.  This morning your motor coach returns to Warsaw. Balance of day at leisure.  (B,D)

10th Day/Sun - WARSAW. After breakfast, termination of tour services. (B)

Transfer to the airport is available at additional cost of $45 per taxi (2 to a taxi) 

If you wish to stay in Southern Poland on your own and not return to Warsaw, deduct $45 from total tour cost.
