| 2nd Day/Sat - VILNIUS. Transfer to hotel. Welcome dinner at the hotel restaurant, where you will meet members of your group and your tour escort. (D) | |
| 3rd Day/Sun - VILNIUS. Full day to explore Historic Vilnius. Tour of Historical Old Town of Vilnius by car and on foot: Vilnius Cathedral, Gediminas Castle, the University campus, Pilies street with the 16-18th century historical and architectural monuments, Gothic corner of Vilnius with St Anne's and Bernardine churches, the former Town Hall square, the Gates of Dawn with a miraculous icon of Virgin Mary, the 17th century Baroque church of St Peter and Paul. Included is also a visit to the KGB museum. Balance of day at leisure. (B) | |
| 4th Day/Mon - VILNIUS - Trakai. After breakfast drive to Trakai (18 miles) - the ancient capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, with short en route stop at the Parliament Building and TV Tower. Visit the 15th century Insular Trakai Castle housing an exhibition on prehistoric findings and the 17-18th century applied art, the way of life of the Lithuanian Grand Dukes, and the Karaites, brought to Lithuania from the Crimea. Lunch in the restaurant with charming Castle view. Later - visit to ancient capital of Lithuania Kernave - in Kernave you will be able to climb 5 mounds and enjoy a superb breath-taking view of the river valley graced by the bends of the river Neris. | 5th Day/Tue - VILNIUS - DRUSKININKAI. Enjoy the day in unspoiled countryside. Visit to Dzukija National Park located in Southern part of Lithuania, famous for wild forests, mushrooms and berries, authentic villages and friendliness of local people. You will visit ethnographic village Zervynos and see the lifestyle of locals. We also arranged the picnic at the farmstead of local people - you will have real possibility not only to enjoy unspoiled nature, but also sing and dance with local folklore band. Later visit to Gruto Parkas – an outdoor museum of notorious Soviet political figures. Then depart for overnight in charming spa town Druskininkai. Enjoy yourself at spa or aqua park. (B) |

| 6th Day/Wed - DRUSKININKAI - KAUNAS.. Morning drive to Kaunas. En route stop in Rumsiskes – unique open air ethnographic museum, depicting the 18-19th century architecture, traditions, crafts and the way of life of different ethnographic regions of the country. On arrival in Kaunas a sightseeing tour will introduce you to this second largest city and the capital of Lithuania between the World Wars. The tour includes: the Old Town of Kaunas with its St George's church, castle ruins, Theological seminary, the Town Hall Square, the Jesuit church, the Cathedral, the Church of Vytautas and the Perkunas House. Visit Ciurlionis Art Museum. Later visit the Convent of Pazaislis – famous for its architecture and wonderworking icon of Virgin Mary. Overnight in Kaunas. (B) | |
| 7th Day/Thu - KAUNAS - KLAIPEDA. After breakfast, journey to the seaside by Panemune castle road with few stops and lunch along the way. Sightseeing tour of Klaipeda - Lithuania's third biggest city - a historic seaport and resort. Old Town of Klaipeda with the Theatre square and the statue of a girl Ann from Tharau, numerous old streets and buildings, Linden street with the old post-office, Mazvydas Sculpture Park. | 8th Day/Fri - KLAIPEDA - PALANGA. Nida. Full day visit to the Curonian Spit. Morning ferry to Neringa - visit to Juodkrante, climb the Hill of Witches decorated with numerous wooden sculptures based on Lithuanian legends and folk tales. Stop at a bird sanctuary. Further drive to Nida (18 miles), a small old fishermen village famous for its majestic shore sand dunes, Thomas Mann's summerhouse, neo-gothic church and old ethnographic cemetery. | 9th Day/Sat - PALANGA. Morning sightseeing of Palanga offers a visit to the Amber Museum which houses an exquisite amber collection. Walk through the Botanical Park of Palanga with Birute's Hill - a 22-metre-high dune, the central street full of souvenir shops, open-air cafes, and leading to the beach and the pier. Afternoon and evening is free time to enjoy resort life and beautiful sunsets. (B, L) | |
| 10th Day/Sun - PALANGA - VILNIUS. Today your coach returns to Vilnius with stop at the holy site of Catholic Pilgrimages – The Hill of Crosses. After lunch continue to Vilnius for balance of day free for independent activities, last minute shopping etc. Farewell dinner with folklore music. (B,D) | |
