TERMS AND BOOKING CONDITIONS

All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars and are valid only when services are prepaid in the United States before departure. Prices for 2020 TOURS are based on tariffs and currency exchange levels in effect in September 2019 and are subject to adjustment in case of significant changes. All local taxes are included.

TOURS:

To make reservations, it is best that you complete reservations form. A deposit of $200 per person is required to reserve space on the tour. Full payment is due 45 days before departure. Tour Confirmation and Invoice will be mailed to you upon deposit receipt. Full payment is due 45 days before departure unless specified on your final invoice.

Cancellations applicable to POLAND TOURS: Full refund will be made (less $25 service fee) if written cancellation notice is received 45 days before departure. Cancellations received 44-36 days prior to departure are subject to a fee of $200 per person; For cancellations received less than 35 before departure there is no refund. For cancellation policy applicable to EXCLUSIVE TOURS, refer to individual tour flyers which will be e-mailed or send by mail on request.

Important note: Each tour member must be able to get on and off the motorcoach unaided and not require walking devices or wheelchairs. Please note that some sites may require walking on cobblestone streets and staircases which will present difficulties for tour members with physical limitations.

CAR RENTAL RESERVATION:

Request for reservations can be made by phone or e-mail. Upon receipt of full payment, a voucher for confirmed services will be mailed to you. Cancellations: For cancellations received 3 working days or more before departure, the fee is $20. For all other cancellations, fee depends on costs involved but no less than $50.

HOTEL STAYS:

Requests for reservations can be made by phone or e-mail or you can book it directly on-line with our suppliers. Cancellation policy is specified at time of reservation.

CREDIT CARDS:

For ground services (tours, hotels, car rentals, etc) we accept all major credit cards: American Express, Master Card, Visa and Discover.

DOCUMENTS:

U. S. citizens: require a valid U.S. passport for travel to Poland. Your passport should be valid for at least THREE months after your return from Europe. If you are holding duel citizenship you should travel with an U.S. passport and a valid Polish passport. Visa is not required for stays up to 90 days. Canadian citizens also do not require a Polish visa for stays up to 90 days.. PAT TOURS is not responsible for improper documentation.

VACCINATIONS:

No vaccinations are required unless coming from infected areas.

INSURANCE:

Travel Protection plans are available and recommended to help protect you and your trip investment. Travel Protection Policies are offered by most major travel insurance providers include benefits such as Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Emergency Medical and Emergency Evacuation /Repatriation. Trip Delay, Baggage Delay and more. To be eligible for the waiver of pre-existing medical condition exclusion, most protection plans must be purchased within 7-21 days from the time you make your initial trip deposit. However, plans can be purchased any time prior to departure. Contact us to request insurance application or book on-line from our home page.

RESPONSIBILITY:

PAT TOURS and its agents act only as an agent in making arrangements for requested services and shall not be liable for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity, liability or expense to person or property due to act or default of any hotel or car rental company or other supplier providing the services. Further, PAT TOURS accepts no responsibility for any sickness, pilferage, labor disputes, machinery breakdown, government restraints, wars, whether declared or not, riots, theft, weather conditions, defect in any vehicle of transportation or for any misadventure or casualty or any other causes beyond its control.
